Get extra support on
your path to college.
Upward Bound is a free college-access program for qualifying high school students who are preparing for education after graduation. The program is designed especially for students from income-eligible families and students who may be the first in their families to attend college. For students who know college may be part of their future but need additional guidance navigating the path, Upward Bound can provide valuable support at no cost.
Eligibility
Eligibility is based primarily on family income and first-generation college status. Federal TRIO programs generally require U.S. citizenship or eligible non-citizen status. The working resource guide recommends confirming eligibility directly with Purdue Fort Wayne for undocumented students.
